About Carmel:

Carmel is a gorgeous classic paw, hazel eyed Black Smoke Tortie born from our Queen Dasha White Satin & King Roland Capris. Carmel has played non-stop since she was able to crawl. She is heavily invested in her relationships with the other cats of Pounce Maine Coons. Watching her grow has been so rewarding as she develops each and every day.

Her personality is very forward and it is easy to understand her needs. Carmel is food and play motivated. Thus, having a cat in the household who can match her energy is A MUST! Carmel does not rely heavily on human interaction – she would rather be chasing her sister up and down the hallway. She is much more of an Independent Queen than a Stage 5 Clinger. As she matures, she will learn to value her humans more but for now, she’s too busy playing. Her favorite place to be is our bedroom where she sleeps in our bed every single night.

Even though she is an Independent and busy queen, when no one else is looking, she will pick her “favorite person” and show her love by snuggling close, seeking out play time and enjoying the treats you provide her. Carmel would not be the best pick for a family who wants a kitten they can constantly pet or hold. Carmel needs stimulation, playful feline or canine friends and many places to climb. She loves to nap up high.
