About Roland:

We imported Roland from Russia to replace our Solid White male, Gandalf. Roland has produced all of our litters since he was just over a year old. His mother is Oddy-Eyed from Altai Lineage. Even though he has hazel eyes, he is a latent blue eyed cat that has the ability to produce offspring with odd eyes.

Roland is a big baby at heart and often reminds me of a Golden Retriever. He craves and loves human attention and interaction. He will plop himself right on top of your lap, back, tummy or even your face. All while purring the most intense purr and firing off at his buscuits. He is especailly cute when he throws himself in front of your feet, rolling over on his back and wiggling side to side like a dog would.

Rolands kittens have not only been beautiful in colors and hearty in size but a true reflection of his gentle and kind nature. In the event of our downsizing and keeping a few of his daughters, it is time for Pounce to introduce a new King – which will be annouced at a later date.

I would like to see Roland go on to produce even more beautiful kittens. Because I have already held back his females, he will leave on a contractual purchase and there will be no consideration for trades or a desire for a return kitten. I encourage all breeders to apply but he will only leave if it is a perfect match. If we do not find a match to carry on his legacy, we will alter him and offer him as a pet before our move to California.

For those interested in full rights:
I would not recommend Roland for showing (lack of experience, hormones, and his profile is, in my opinion, too straight). We also keep him in a lion cut, which means he is not used to show style grooming. He does well with our queens, kittens and males that are nice to him! He is not aggressive with mating, does not howl or get overly stressed from lack of mating. He has his own space in our home where he is used to being when we are asleep or away. To be considered, you must submit an application and complete a phone interview where all other information can be discussed. In tearms of health, he will leave with a clear URI & Fecal PCR, exam, complete on vaccines, current FIV/Felv negative test and records from his Echo & OFA certifiacte and of course full rights TICA registration.
